Jayapura – Intellectual figure Mimika Yohanes Kemong invites all levels of components to make the democratic party (election) a success which is only a few days away from being held.
“Let’s make a dignified democratic party a success without any disputes due to differences in choices,” said Yohanes, when interviewed, Sunday (28/1) morning, quoted by JPNN. Yohanes also invited the public to take part in maintaining security before and after so that peaceful elections can be created according to the hopes of all parties.
“Security is the main key, let us join hands for security, because security is the responsibility of all of us, not just TNI and Polri officers,” he stressed.
Apart from that, this Mimika man asked the public to be wise in responding to issues circulating widely on social media platforms, considering that currently social media is the main means of disseminating hoax information.
“Whatever information is circulating, we must understand it carefully, don’t just accept information whose truth is still confusing, because currently hoax issues are a threat that can divide all parties, including derailing the democratic party,” he stressed.
He also emphasized that the public should be careful in their choices in determining progress in the next 5 years. “We must make the election a success, so that the President, Vice President, DPR RI, DPD RI, Provincial, City and Regency DPRD are elected so that they become representatives of the people who are able to accommodate the aspirations of the people,” said Yohanes.
Yohanes also asked the public to take part again in making the election a success and support it so that it runs peacefully and smoothly.
“Let us work together to maintain and make the elections successful in a safe, peaceful and peaceful manner, for the sake of the progress of the land of Papua which God has blessed,” he stressed.
