“This patrol is part of prevention to anticipate criminal acts and actions that will be carried out by certain groups,” he said.
The Police Chief said that there were 13 patrols carried out by joint personnel from both the Lanny Jaya Police and the Papua Police Mobile Brigade.
“The patrols carried out are around Tiom, Gurika Village, Onggeme village, Wamena-Tiom trans road, Pirime District, Indawa Village, Abuneri village, Makki Police Station, Tiom – Balingga trans road, Malagai District, Logom Village, Malagaineri District, Guningame village and then return to the Police Headquarters,” said the Police Chief.
Apart from patrols, said the police chief, the personnel involved also provided security and social security messages to maintain security ahead of Christmas and the general election.
