Jayapura – The Puncak Resort Police guarded the working visit of the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) of the Republic of Indonesia Muhadjir Effendy, Thursday (31/8/2023).
Also present at the event were Puncak Regent Wilem Wandik, Dandim 171 / Pck Letkol Inf. J. Nidio, Chief of the Puncak Police, Kompol I Nyoman Punia, S. Sos, District Heads and Members of the Puncak Negro Wanimbo Regency DPRD.
The working visit of the Coordinating Minister for PMK was in the context of observing the location of the old rice warehouse where humanitarian assistance was stored and plans to build connecting facilities and infrastructure between districts in Puncak Regency, especially Sinak District and its surroundings.
On his occasion, the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture said he was sent directly by Mr. President Jokowi to ensure the plan for the construction of connecting facilities and infrastructure between districts in Puncak Regency, especially Sinak District and surrounding districts so that it can run well and have a good impact on people’s lives.
“For the first stage of construction, an extension will be made to the size of the Sinak Airport Run Way so that transportation access for the mobility of goods can be even better with a large capacity, so that Sinak can become the main supplier of basic necessities for other areas around it,” said Coordinating Minister for PMK.
Furthermore, the Coordinating Minister for PMK asked for the support of all the people of the Sinak District and its surroundings so that all of these development plans could go well and according to plan by maintaining a safe and conducive Kamtibmas.
“I have responded and will build connecting roads, bridges and vehicles between the Sinak District and Lambewi, Agandugume and Oneri Districts so that there will be no more economic disparities and disasters like yesterday,” he concluded.
