Jayapura – Young Papuan figure Ali Kabiay emphasized that the Armed Criminal Group or KKB Papua is a terrorist group. The reason is, he sees KKB patterns that always damage public facilities, including burning schools, airports and health centers that can be categorized in acts of terrorism.
“For this reason, the narratives built by elites who really love the Indonesian nation must use the title Papuan Terrorist Group because they can no longer be categorized as KKB,” said Ali Kabiay in Jayapura.
He also responded to the incident of the fall of 4 victims from the TNI in Nduga, Papua Mountains, while trying to free the Susi Air Pilot who was held hostage by the KKB.
“We certainly express our condolences for the loss of 4 TNI soldiers who died and are the pride of the nation, and I am sure they are accepted by God for risking their lives by fighting terrorists,” he said.
Ali also understands that in battle there are certainly casualties that fall because it is a common thing. But according to him, this will not dampen the spirit of the officers in fighting.
“But what I want to say here is that the TNI and Polri will never back down an inch because they will continue to maintain the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia,” he said.
Asked about the different versions of the number of victims both from the side of TNI officials, and Papuan terrorist support groups, Ali ensured that the TNI certainly had credible data.
“Because the information is that there are those who say the number of victims is 9, 11 or around 12 people, even though what we know is that there are 4 victims from the TNI so far, and I am sure that victims from the Papuan Separatist Group must exist, but they often when they are shot will certainly save their friends who are shot,” Ali explained.
He believes that the security forces or TNI-Polri have certain strategies to overcome the terrorist group.
