Dekai – Yahukimo Police Chief AKBP Arief Kristanto, SH, SIK, M.Sc., held a Face-to-face Meeting with Yahukimo Community Leaders which took place in the Yahukimo Police Data Room, Friday (10/3/2023).
Various Community Leaders were seen attending, namely Yahukimo Community Leader Leo Giban, Yali-Anggruk Tribe Leader Isak Salak, Momuna Tribe Chief Bartol Kubu, Head of IKT Bongga Sumule, Chair of LMA Paulusa Sesik, Chair of the Bugis-Makassar Association Muchtar, Representative of HKJM Sugondo, and Chair of KKST Muh Ali.
Packed in a relaxed conversation, the Police Chief who was accompanied by the Head of Ops AKP Alwi Wairooy, said the purpose of inviting the figures was to invite cooperation in creating community security and order, especially after the events in Yahukimo.
“Responding to the various incidents that occurred in Yahukimo Regency, especially Dekai District, we ask for help from gentlemen to help us, by providing any information related to security and order,” said AKBP Arief.
Continuing to respond to hoaxes or provocations which are a serious problem in society, the Police Chief asked that figures be able to provide understanding to the public.
“Gentlemen, you have a big role in society. As a figure, you can provide an understanding of society and don’t be easily provoked by issues.” Chief of Police appeal.
In essence, all figures fully support the steps taken by the Police and TNI in creating community security and order, which proves that the State exists and is present in Yahukimo.
“We thank you for the hard work done by the Chief of Police and his members,” said one community leader, Isak Salak.
At the end of his delivery, the Police Chief expressed his gratitude and hoped that the cooperation between Kamtibmas could be further increased, in order to create security stability in Yahukimo.
“Obviously in organizing kamtibmas we cannot work alone, we need support from all parties. Therefore, we once again ask all figures to help us in making this happen, “concluded AKBP Arief.
