Paniai, Central Papua – The Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force moved quickly to handle a case of violence against a citizen that occurred in Kali Enaro, Ekaitadi Village, East Paniai District, Paniai Regency, Thursday (2/4/2026). The victim has now received intensive medical treatment at the Paniai Hospital.
The incident occurred around 15.20 WIT in the Kali Enaro area, Ekaitadi Village. The victim, a man with the initials S (55), who works as a motorcycle taxi driver, was found injured by police officers who passed by the scene.
Quickly, officers and residents immediately evacuated the victim to the Paniai Hospital to get medical help. The medical team then carried out follow-up treatment, including surgery to ensure the victim’s condition was stable.
Until now, the victim is still in intensive care and has not been asked for further information.
The Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force ensures that the investigation process continues. The Peace Cartenz Ops Task Force is collecting information and evidence in the field to reveal the perpetrator who is currently still under investigation.
Head of Cartenz 2026 Peace Operations, Inspector General. Pol. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that his party will not tolerate any form of violence against the community.
“Every perpetrator of violence will be dealt with strictly in accordance with the applicable law. We are committed to maintaining security and providing a sense of security for the entire community,” said Kaops Damai Cartenz.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Cartenz 2026 Peace Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., said that the Cartenz Peace Task Force will continue to increase patrols and surveillance in vulnerable areas to prevent similar incidents.
“We urge the public to remain calm and immediately report if they find something suspicious. Synergy between apparatus and society is very important in keeping the kamtibmas situation conducive,” said Wakaops Damai Cartenz.
Adding that, the Deputy Public Relations Task Force of Peace Ops Cartenz-2026 AKBP Andria, S.I.K. emphasized the importance of community involvement in maintaining security.
“Active community participation and synergy with the Cartenz Peace Task Force are very important to keep the kamtibmas situation safe and conducive. We also guarantee the confidentiality of every information provided by the community,” said AKBP Andria.
He also emphasized that the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force is committed to carrying out law enforcement duties in a transparent and professional manner.

The Cartenz Peace Task Force emphasized that the perpetrators of violence will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the law with the threat of a serious crime. This law enforcement is expected to provide a deterrent effect as well as a warning that every criminal act will be acted on firmly and measuredly.
The Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force also invites all the community to jointly maintain environmental security and not be easily provoked by information that is not necessarily true.
