Pegunungan Bintang – The democratic space in Pegunungan Bintang Regency was well maintained during the delivery of aspirations by the Pegunungan Bintang Student Association which took place on Friday, January 23, 2026. The activity went orderly and peacefully thanks to the security and regional assistance carried out by the Cartenz 2026 Peace Operation Task Force personnel on Oksibil-Iwur Street, precisely in front of Bank Papua Oksibil.
The presence of security forces is not only focused on securing activities, but also ensuring that the community and students can express their opinions safely and with dignity. Cartenz Peace Operation personnel apply a humanist and persuasive approach while still respecting the constitutional rights of citizens.
This security is carried out as a preventive measure against potential security disturbances, including the efforts of certain parties who can take advantage of the situation to create tension. With measurable readiness, the authorities ensure that the activity takes place according to the rules without causing concern in the community.
Head of Cartenz Peace Operation 2026, Brigadier General of Police. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that securing the delivery of aspirations is part of the responsibility of the National Police in maintaining a balance between security and freedom of expression.

The presence of the National Police aims to ensure that the aspirations of the community can be conveyed without intimidation, threats, or security disturbances.
