SARMI – Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 carried out a home visit medical service for elderly residents in Sarmi Regency, Papua Province, on Wednesday (July 30, 2025). This activity is part of the National Police’s humanitarian service for communities in remote areas of Papua who require special attention.

The activity was led by IPDA Syahri Mahyudin, S.H., from the Public Relations Unit of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, together with IPDA Dr. Chintya Widodo from the Health Subtask of the Operational Support Task Force (Banops) of Peace Cartenz 2025.

During the visit, the medical team went directly to the homes of two elderly patients to provide on-site examination and treatment. The patients visited were:

Mrs. Anaci Wanewar (85 years old), a resident of Sarmo Village, Sarmi Kota District, Sarmi Regency.
Mrs. Salomina Senere (72 years old), a resident of Tafarewar Village, Sarmi Kota District, Sarmi Regency.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by the Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that this home visit activity is a tangible form of the police’s presence bringing a positive impact to the people of Papua.
“We are not only present for security tasks but also to deliver services that directly meet the needs of the community. This activity is proof that the National Police, through Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, truly cares and is present for all levels of society, including the elderly,” said Brigadier General of Police Faizal.

The Head of Public Relations for Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., also emphasized that humanitarian missions are an essential part of the Police’s approach in the Peace Cartenz operational area, in addition to its main task of law enforcement.

“The National Police, through Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, is not only focused on law enforcement against armed criminal groups (KKB), but also carries out humanitarian services like this. This is a humanist approach, ensuring that the public truly feels protected and served,” explained Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf.
