Papua Regional Police Urge Citizens to Maintain Public Order During Ramadan

Papua – The Papua Regional Police (Polda Papua) have called on residents to maintain public security and order (kamtibmas) throughout the holy month of Ramadan in Papua Province.

“We urge citizens to work together in maintaining public order during this Ramadan,” said the Chief of Public Relations in an official statement.

According to the Chief of Public Relations, Ramadan is the perfect time to raise awareness and encourage community participation in ensuring security and order.

“We hope that the community will actively contribute to maintaining public order, creating a safe and comfortable atmosphere during the fasting month,” he added.

The Papua Regional Police will also intensify surveillance and patrols around mosques, prayer rooms, and other places of worship to ensure security and order.

“We encourage the public to cooperate with the Papua Regional Police and local police departments in safeguarding public security during this Ramadan,” he concluded.

With these efforts, it is hoped that the fasting month will proceed safely and smoothly.
