Timika – Head of the Ambon District Prosecutor’s Office (Kajari), Adhryansah, said that Ambon City is currently being used as a transit point to supply firearms to the Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB).
This was conveyed after the destruction of dozens of items of evidence (BB) in general criminal cases with permanent legal force in the courtyard of the Ambon DPRD Building, Friday (15/12/2023).
“If we look closely now, Ambon City has now become a transit point for the supply of dangerous weapons for separatist actions,” said Adhryansah.
He said, three firearms, two SS1 bullet magazines, one M16 bullet magazine, 18 rubber bullets and 302 bullets were destroyed today.
“From several cases and BB that were processed, it was indicated that the destination was in Papua to support the KKB separatist group in Papua,” he said.
He emphasized that if something similar happened, the Ambon Prosecutor’s Office itself would destroy the evidence until it could no longer be used.
It wasn’t just ammunition for the KKB, according to ototmaluku.id monitoring, the evidence that was also destroyed was 104 packages of crystal methamphetamine, 261 packages of marijuana, 9 packages of synthetic tobacco, 29 cellphones, 61 pieces of clothing, 2 pairs of shoes, and 1 slingshot.
Furthermore, 12 arrows, 7 sharp weapons, 5 helmets, 2 flash disks, 2 hard disks, 3 CD-Rooms, 3 methamphetamine suction devices, 11 bags, 1 motorbike tire, 1 wallet, 5 an ATM card, and 1 savings book.
