Head of Cartenz-2023 Peace Operations, Police Commissioner. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos, S.I.K, M.H., when confirmed, said that one person who was arrested was a supplier of foodstuffs and a recipient of funds (money) from the KKB group led by Egianus Kogoya.
“Yes, that’s right, we have arrested a man with the initials “Y.T”, who is a KKB sympathizer whose role is to supply food to Egianus Kogoya’s group. The perpetrator has a daily job as a Speed Motorist in Asmat,” explained Faizal
It should be noted that the Cartenz Peace Task Force Team had obtained information and then followed him when YT went to Bank Papua to collect the money transfer from Egianus Kogoya.
“Before Y.T was arrested by officers, Y.T had withdrawn 100 million at Bank Papua Asmat and from this money, Y.T had purchased food ingredients to take to the Egianus Kogoya Group KKB according to Egianus Kogoya’s request.” said Head of Peace Ops Cartenz-2023.
Head of Public Relations Task Force for Peace Ops Cartenz 2023, AKBP. Dr. BAYU SUSENO, SH, SIK, MM, MH., also explained that Y.T had been arrested by the Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force and the Asmat Police Polairud Unit.
“Currently YT is being examined intensively at the Asmat Police and in the near future we will take him to Timika for further investigation.” concluded Bayu
