Jayapura – Papua Police Chief, Inspector General. Pol. Mathius D. Fakhiri, S.I.K., M.H., revealed that currently members of the local police are still investigating the abuse case that caused the death of humanitarian activist, Michelle Kurisi Ndoga.
“There have been several witnesses who have been questioned,” said the Papua Regional Police chief as quoted by Antara, Tuesday (5/9/23).
The Regional Police Chief revealed that the case was being investigated as to what was the cause of the violence that killed a woman. In addition, his party could not confirm who the perpetrators of the murder were because it was still under investigation.
“There must be evidence related to the perpetrators of the persecution until the victim was killed,” explained the Two Star General.
Previously, Michelle Kurisi Ndoga’s body was found on Thursday (31/8/23) in Koluwok Village, Kolowa District, Lanny Jayapura Regency, Papua Mountains. The victim’s body was buried on Saturday (2/9/23) in Jayapura.
