“Now is the right time for the younger generation of Papua to welcome and guard what the central government has given to the Papuan people. So that it is important to do things that are positive and beneficial for the younger generation of Papua and the Papuan people as a whole”. Ali Kabiay said.
Ali Kabiay also expressed his concern about the younger generation of Papua who are influenced by groups that are against the principles of sovereignty and are easily influenced by hoax news. He said that friends abroad, such as America, the UK, and Singapore, want young Papuans in Papua to no longer be involved in certain politics that divide the sovereignty of the Indonesian nation.
“We regret very much that many young Papuans whose knowledge may be economics and so on but always talk about political issues, of course it is very unfortunate”. Ali Kabiay said.
He continued, it is better to create new innovations that can advance the region and have a positive economic impact on the Papuan people and themselves, rather than continuing to think about certain politics.
Ali Kabiay added that the younger generation is certainly capable of advancing Papua and encouraging the economic growth of the Papuan people, as long as they leave political views that can divide the nation and rise to create new useful innovations.
