Timika – One of the leaders of the frontman of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB), who is a member of the West Papua National Liberation Army (TPNPB) of the Free Papua Organization (OPM) in the Yahukimo area with the initials PH or Kopi Tua Heluka was successfully arrested.
The arrest of the person concerned was made on Friday 19 May 2023, at around 10.48 WIT in one of the restaurants in front of Jalan axis Mako, Waena Village, Heram District, Jayapura City, Papua Province.
Furthermore, after being arrested by members of the TNI, the person concerned was then handed over to the Carstensz Damai Operations Task Force for a more in-depth investigation.
It should be noted that PH’s arrest began with the arrest of AS, who was the leader of the KKB led by PH. In fact, this was immediately confirmed by the US.
According to the Head of Damai Operations Cartenz 2023 Kombes Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H. that PH was involved in the shooting case of Brimob members from the Cartenz Peaceful Operations Task Force, on November 30, 2022.
Not only that, PH was also involved in the killing of TNI members on November 4, 2022.
On November 29, 2022, he also took part in the shooting of Brigadier Usdar, who was a member of the Yahukimo Police, which resulted in the death of the victim.
Furthermore, that PH also took part in the shootings carried out by the KKB against the Yahukimo Police Security Post or SPKT twice.
Furthermore, the KKB carried out attacks and shootings at the Kali Post made by the Cartenz Peaceful Operations Task Force in Dekai District, although there were no casualties.
After further investigation, it turned out that PH was indeed one of the leaders of the KKB, which was reinforced by the submission of AS, one of the KKB members who had been arrested previously.
