Nduga, Papua Pegunungan – In order to maintain the stability of security and public order, Cartenz 2026 Peace Operation Task Force personnel carried out vehicle patrols in the office area of Kenyam District, Nduga Regency, on Thursday (4/9/2026) around 11.00 WIT. This activity is focused on securing vital objects as well as preventive efforts in law enforcement to create a safe and conducive situation in the region.
The patrol carried out by the Cartenz Peace Task Force personnel is part of the police’s routine strategy in providing a sense of security in the community. In addition to combing strategic areas, personnel also take a humanistic approach through direct interaction with residents, in order to strengthen relationships and build public trust in security forces.
Head of Cartenz Peace Operations 2026, Inspector General of Police. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H. emphasized that patrol activities carried out routinely by personnel in the field are a preventive measure in maintaining security stability in the Papua region.
“Routine patrols carried out by our personnel are part of preventive efforts to maintain security stability in Papua. The presence of officers in the community is expected to be able to prevent potential disturbances of kamtibmas and provide a sense of security for all residents,” said Head of Operation Peace Cartenz.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2026, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum. added that the humanist approach through direct interaction with the community is the main key in creating a conducive situation.
“Direct interaction with the public is the key in building public trust in the security apparatus. With good communication, we hope to create a harmonious relationship so that the kamtibmas situation is maintained,” explained Deputy Head Of Operation Peace Cartenz.
During the implementation of the activity, the situation in Kenyam District was monitored to be safe and conducive.
