Pegunungan Bintang, Highland Papua — The Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force 2026 continues to demonstrate its commitment to maintaining security stability and ensuring a sense of safety for the community through community patrols and worship security activities in its area of operation.
The activity took place on Sunday (April 5, 2026) in Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Highland Papua.
During the operation, personnel conducted dialogical patrols across several residential areas while also securing the implementation of religious services. This initiative aimed to ensure that the situation remained safe and conducive, while providing comfort for the community in carrying out their religious activities.
In addition to security measures, personnel also carried out a persuasive approach by greeting and directly interacting with residents to strengthen relationships and build trust between security forces and the local community.
Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, stated that the presence of personnel among the community is part of the effort to maintain security stability and provide maximum protection to citizens.
“The security of worship activities and community patrols represent the state’s presence in ensuring that people can carry out their activities safely and comfortably. We will continue to be present to maintain a conducive situation,” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation, Senior Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, added that a humanistic approach is key to creating sustainable security conditions in Papua.
“We prioritize dialogical patrols and a persuasive approach so that the community feels closer and protected. With good synergy, security stability can be maintained,” he said.
The Cartenz Peace Task Force remains committed to continuously carrying out similar activities as part of efforts to create a safe, peaceful, and conducive public security situation in Papua, particularly in Kiwirok District.
