Puncak Jaya – In a show of concern for the local community in Papua, particularly children, personnel from Ops Peace Cartenz-2025 carried out a social outreach activity at Pos Kulirik, Muara District, Puncak Jaya Regency, Central Papua. On Tuesday (May 27, 2025), around 12:30 PM WIT, Bripda Nelwan Nono and his team distributed snacks and engaged in direct interaction with school children and residents nearby.
The children participating in the activity appeared joyful and excited, happily accepting the snacks provided by the officers. The event created a warm and familial atmosphere, enhancing the sense of unity and togetherness amid their daily routines.
Brigjen Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, the Commander of Ops Peace Cartenz, accompanied by Wakaops, Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that such social initiatives are part of the ongoing efforts by Ops Peace Cartenz-2025 to foster a peaceful and harmonious environment in Papua.
“This activity is a regular program we implement as a tangible expression of our concern for the community. Our hope is that through activities like this, stronger bonds and better understanding between the people of Papua and security personnel can be cultivated, contributing to a safer, more stable, and peaceful situation in Puncak Jaya and the broader region,” Brigjen Faizal stated.
Furthermore, the Public Relations Task Force of Ops Peace Cartenz-2025, Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., shared that this activity reflects the officers’ genuine care for the children of Papua.
“Our main aim is to motivate children to stay passionate about their education and to provide them with renewed enthusiasm. Additionally, this effort also helps to strengthen positive relations between the security forces and the local community in Kulirik,” he explained.
Through initiatives like these, it is hoped that children’s enthusiasm for learning will continue to grow, and the warmth and closeness between security personnel and residents in Papua will be maintained and further developed.
