Timika – Marenus Tabuni alias Maneko alias Bingun, the perpetrator of a number of criminal cases of arson and shooting in Puncak Regency, was brought to Timika, Mimika Regency.
From information received by dawnpapua.com, Marenus Tabuni arrived at Mozes Kilangin Timika Airport on Wednesday (17/12) at 08.37 WIT using the Asian One PK-LTF aircraft.
Marenus Tabuni’s arrival in Timika was closely guarded by Puncak Police personnel.
The following are the crimes committed by Marenus Tabuni:
- The burning of PT MTT which occurred on Saturday 19 February 2022 next to the PT MTT mess, specifically the boarding house belonging to Negro Wanimbo;
- Burning of the house (in front of the tower) which occurred on Saturday 18 February 2023 at around 13.00 WIT in Kago village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency;
- The burning of Mr. Zaidil’s house which occurred in Kago Village, which occurred on Wednesday 6 April 2022 at approximately 16.00 WIT on Jalan Ilaga, Gome District, Puncak Regency;
- Burning of PT mess. Superior to what happened on Jalan Pancuran;
- The shooting of Brother Antonius Padang which occurred on Friday 1 September 2023 on the road in front of the Ilaga District Regional Government Housing Complex, Puncak Regency;
Puncak Police Chief Commissioner I Nyoman Punia, when confirmed, did not provide an answer.
Meanwhile, Head of the Cartenz Peace Operations Public Relations Task Force, Kombes Pol Bayu Suseno, when confirmed, explained that his party would soon provide news.
