Oksibil- For the success of their task of paralyzing the KKB in 2023, eleven (11) Papuan Police personnel including one (1) Ba Ro Ops Papuan Police personnel and ten (10) Bintang Mountains Police received awards from the National Police Chief.
The awarding of awards in the form of Sespim Polri, a gold pin, participating in the 2025 SIP, and Extraordinary Promotion (KPLB) was carried out at the Headquarters of the Bintang Mountains Police Headquarters which was led directly by Assistant Chief of Police Inspector General Pol. Drs. Verdianto I. Bitticaca, M.Hum., representing the National Police Chief, Tuesday 7 May 2024.
The Sespim Polri Award was given to the Deputy Chief of Police for the Bintang Mountains Police Commissioner. Micha Toding Potty, SH., SIK., MH., the National Police Chief’s Gold pin was given to the Head of Ops, AKP Menase Sayori, SE., Head of Intelligence and Security, Inspector Sutokit, and Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Inspector Jarwo Sasmito, SH., MH.
The award for attending the Police Inspector School (SIP) in 2025 was given to Bripka Randi CH. Korwa, and Brigadier Natalius Kalep Paisei, while promotion to the Extraordinary Rank (KPLB) to a higher level than the previous rank was given to Brigadier Arman R. Limbong, Brigadier Melkias Petrus Sada Tapu, Bripda Hajai Pulalo, Brigadier Hamow Yoshua Yapenang, and Brigadier Riyan Capri Papua Police Ba Ro Ops Zone.
Head of Cartenz 2024 Peace Operations Kombes Pol. Faizal Ramadhani, S.sos., SIK., MH., through the Head of the Public Relations Task Force AKBP Dr Bayu Suseno, SH., SIK., MM., MH., confirmed that there was an award given to the Papuan Police personnel who paralyzed the KKB in 2023.
“It’s true, the awards are given in the form of Sespim Polri, gold pin of Kapolri, participating in SIP 2025, and KPLB in accordance with the Decree of the Chief of Police of the Republic of Indonesia Number Kep 719 Roman V of 2024 concerning awards to members of the National Police who excel,” he said.
