Jayapura – In order to maintain order and security around Oksibil City, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Papua Mountains Province, personnel of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force led by Iptu Muhammad Kasim Lating, S.Tr.K. carried out routine patrols, Thursday (11/01/2024) morning.
This patrol and sambaing activity is part of an effort to create conducive kamtimbas conditions in the region. In his direction to personnel, Iptu Muhammad Kasim emphasized the importance of carrying out patrol activities as an effort to prevent and handle potential security vulnerabilities in the surrounding environment.
“This sambang patrol covers a number of strategic points in Oksibil City, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, to ensure that the presence of personnel can provide a sense of security and comfort for the local community,” he said.
With high skills and vigilance, said Iptu Kasim, personnel move efficiently in monitoring the situation and responding to potential security threats.
Meanwhile, Head of the Cartenz Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno stated that the patrols carried out by the personnel of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force were not just a routine, but also a form of the Police’s commitment through the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation in supporting the creation of conducive kamtimbas in the Papua Mountains.
“This effort is in line with the objectives of Operation Peace Cartenz-2024 to provide optimal protection and services to the community,” said Bayu.
He argued that this patrol is one way for Ops Damai Cartenz-2024 personnel to get closer to hearing community complaints and establishing cooperation in creating a safe and peaceful environment.
“With the presence of the Brimob ODC-2024 Task Force in Oksibil, it is hoped that it will further increase the sense of security and comfort of the community around Oksibil City,” he explained.
