Timika – The Cartenz 2023 Peace Task Force in the Puncak Regency has secured 1 KKB member in Ilaga, Puncak Regency, Thursday (21/09/2023).
Head of the Cartenz Peace 2023 Public Relations Task Force AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H. said the Cartenz Peace Task Force managed to secure 1 KKB member in Ilaga Kab. Puncak.
“We have managed to secure 1 KKB member in Ilaga on behalf of A.K alias Artis (20) male gender with address Kampung Manggume District Pomukia Kab. Puncak,” he said.
Furthermore, personnel also managed to secure a number of pieces of evidence.
“The evidence that we managed to secure was 1 small bag, 3 beaded necklaces, 1 bottle of drink, 1 Oppo brand cellphone, 1 charter knife, 1 iron necklace and 1 yellow toy necklace,” He continued.
“Based on the results of the examination, that the role of brother AK is the burning of residents’ houses and PT. Unggul bascamp (23/05/2023) ago, the second role was involved in the burning of SMA Negeri 1 Ilaga on August 17, 2023,” he concluded.
Currently the person concerned is still in the process of being examined at the Puncak Police Station for further development.
In addition, the Head of the Cartenz-2023 Peace Operations Unit, Kombes Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos, S.I.K, M.H., said the Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force would continue to enforce the law against the KKB and its sympathizers.
“We will continue to enforce the law against KKB and its sympathizers in order to realize a conducive peace and security situation in Papua,” said Ka Ops Damai Cartenz.
