Jayapura Police – A dispute between 2 KNPB sympathizers that occurred at BTN Purwodadi Sentani, Jayapura Regency. Friday, 18/08 afternoon.
As a result of the clash, 2 sympathizers from one of the camps with the initials OK (30) suffered stab wounds to the neck and TS (27) suffered stab wounds to the right shoulder and chest.
Jayapura Police Chief AKBP Fredrickus W.A Maclarimboen, S.IK., MH when confirmed confirmed the conflict that led to mutual attacks between two camps of KNPB sympathizers that occurred at BTN Purwodadi Sentani.
“This case originated from one of the camps that was carrying out thanksgiving activities in order to move the KNPB secretariat office located at BTN Purwodadi. Suddenly came one more camp that questioned and accused that the camp that was carrying out thanksgiving took money amounting to Rp. 200,000,000, – (two hundred million rupiah) so that there was a dispute and attacked each other between the two camps, “he said.
Furthermore, the Police Chief, getting the report, his personnel immediately went to the scene so that the situation could be controlled.
“As a result of the dispute 2 people suffered stab wounds, there were also material losses such as 3 units of houses that were damaged such as broken window glass and destroyed furniture, not only that there were 4 units of evidence of motorbikes that were damaged, one of which was burned, the victim has made a police report while still under our examination and investigation, to be processed by law in accordance with applicable laws,” he concluded.
