Jayapura- Three suspects supplying ammunition to the Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB) who were arrested by the Cartenz Damai Task Force and the Jayawijaya Police on 07 February 2023, have been handed over to the Wamena district attorney on 7 June 2023.
The three suspects namely, ST alias UT, PM alias YM alias ML and DK alias L were arrested by the authorities based on Police Report Number: LP / A / 02 / II / 2023 / SPKT / Polres Jayawijaya / Polda Papua, February 7 2023 for allegedly supplying 77 (Seventy Seven) Firearms Ammunition to the KKB Puncak area and they were arrested in Wamena-Jayawijaya.
Head of Damai Operations Cartenz-2023, Kombespol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., in his statement said that the three suspects, namely ST alias UT, PM alias YM alias ML and DK alias L, had been handed over to the Wamena district attorney by investigators on June 7 2023 along with goods Ammunition Firearms A total of 77 (Seventy Seven) Points and other evidence.
“During the examination, the three suspects admitted their actions, so that the filing process was declared complete and has been accepted by the Jayawijaya Prosecutor’s Office,” concluded the Head of Ops Damai Cartenz.
