Jayapura – The Deputy Speaker of the Papuan People’s Assembly (MRP), Max Abner F. Ohee, expressed his full support for the various strategic programs implemented by President Prabowo Subianto as an effort to accelerate development in Papua.
Max believes that President Prabowo’s commitment to developing Papua is reflected in various government priority programs, including the implementation of the National Strategic Projects (PSN), which are aimed at accelerating equitable development and improving the welfare of the people in various regions of Papua.
“I fully support President Prabowo Subianto’s commitment to developing Papua with his current programs. I also see Papua’s development being realized through various strategic programs, including the National Strategic Projects, which provide an increasingly clear direction for development,” said Max Ohee.
He stated that the government’s development efforts are not solely focused on physical development, but also place significant emphasis on improving the quality of human resources as the primary capital for long-term development.
On the other hand, the government also continues to encourage regional economic growth, expand access to education and healthcare, and maintain respect for Papuan customs and culture.
“President Prabowo’s development of Papua is not only oriented towards physical development, but also towards improving the quality of human resources, local economic growth, equitable distribution of public services, and respect for local cultural wisdom. This approach is crucial for Papua’s sustainable progress,” he said.
According to Max Ohee, strengthening inter-regional connectivity, developing educational and healthcare facilities, accelerating food security programs, managing natural resource potential, and creating jobs through various strategic projects will provide tangible benefits to the community.
Therefore, he called on all elements of society to actively participate in supporting every development program to ensure optimal implementation.
“I invite all elements of Papuan society to support President Prabowo’s commitment to developing the Land of Papua. With the togetherness and support of all parties, I am optimistic that Papua will become increasingly advanced, independent, peaceful, and prosperous, so that the fruits of development can be felt equally by all people,” concluded Max Ohee.
