SINAK – Amid challenging security operations in the Sinak District, Puncak Regency, personnel of the Indonesian National Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob Polri) continue to demonstrate their humanitarian commitment by providing medical assistance to local residents, Tuesday (January 20, 2026).
One resident, identified as A.M. (33), received direct wound treatment from Brimob personnel. The medical assistance was delivered with empathy and genuine care, considering the limited access to healthcare services still faced by communities in remote areas.
The treatment, though simple, carried significant meaning. Brimob personnel not only addressed the physical injury but also engaged in warm and compassionate communication, ensuring the resident felt cared for and supported during recovery.
The Head of Operation Damai Cartenz 2026, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that a humanitarian approach is an essential part of Polri’s mission in Papua.
“We want the presence of the Police to be truly felt by the community. Not only in maintaining security, but also in caring for, helping, and strengthening the people. From this trust, peace can grow naturally,” he stated.
According to him, humanitarian actions carried out by Brimob personnel are part of ongoing efforts to build sincere and meaningful relationships between security forces and local communities.
Through this healthcare service, Brimob Polri hopes to foster a comprehensive sense of security while strengthening public trust and hope in the state’s presence throughout the Sinak region.
