Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 Promotes Humanitarian Security in Papua Through Dialogic Patrol with Children in Kenyam, Nduga

Nduga, Papua — As part of its core duties to protect, serve, and engage with the community, personnel from the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 conducted a dialogic patrol in Kenyam District, Nduga Regency, Papua, on Friday (May 9, 2025). This activity aimed not only to maintain public order (kamtibmas) but also to foster positive interaction with the community, especially with children as the future of the nation.
The patrol was led by Inspector Two Arief Rahmansyah, accompanied by Police Brigadier Two Natria, Police Brigadier Two Fauziah Dena, and Bhayangkara Saty Sopyan. They visited the area around the Nduga Regent’s Office, greeted children, and delivered moral and educational messages about discipline, personal safety, and the spirit of learning for a brighter future in Papua.
“We want to show that the presence of the Indonesian National Police is not only about safeguarding security but also about being a friend to the community, including children,” said Inspector Arief.
Children enthusiastically welcomed the officers and took part in light-hearted yet meaningful conversations. The police actively educated them about avoiding negative influences and keeping their environment clean and safe.
This initiative is part of the preventive and pre-emptive approach emphasized by Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025. By instilling national values and discipline from an early age, the police are committed to fostering a sustainable and secure public environment.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that the presence of the Indonesian National Police in Papua reflects the state’s commitment to protecting all its citizens.
“Through this kind of activity, the police demonstrate that security is not only built through force, but also through human-centered and educational approaches that resonate with the people,” he stated.
Similarly, Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., along with Head of Public Relations, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., expressed their full support for the activity as part of a broader communication and trust-building strategy.
“We aim to build a peaceful Papua through a harmonious relationship between law enforcement and the community. Dialogic patrols like this serve as a direct platform to nurture the younger generation,” said Chief Commissioner Yusuf.
