Supiori Regent, Heronimus Mansoben Officially Opens GKI Eden Mansoben’s Easter Camping.

Supiori – Hundreds of children and teenagers who are members of the Children and Teenagers (PAR) of the GKI Eden Mansoben Congregation, North Supiori Class, participated in the 2025 Easter Camping event which was officially opened by the Regent of Supiori, Heronimus Mansoben.

This activity began with a solemn and joyful opening service, attended directly by the Regent of Heronimus Mansoben and the GKI Eden Mansoben congregation. In his speech, the Regent expressed his high appreciation for the implementation of Easter Camping which became the routine agenda of the congregation in commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Regent Heronimus emphasized that the Supiori Regency Government fully supports religious activities such as Easter Camping, because it has positive values in shaping the character of the young generation that believes, is disciplined, and has a spirit of togetherness.

“Easter Camping is not only a momentum for faith celebrations, but also as a means of spiritual and mental development for children and teenagers in the church environment,” said the Regent.

Furthermore, he also said that similar activities were not only carried out in the Eden Mansoben Congregation, but also carried out in various other church denominations in Supiori in order to welcome and enliven Easter.

“As a strategic partner of the church, the local government will continue to encourage collaboration and support spiritual, social, and community activities. We believe, the togetherness of the church and the government will have a positive impact in building this area,” he added.

This Easter Camping activity is expected to be a forum for sustainable faith development as well as strengthening the brotherhood among children and teenagers of the congregation. The local government hopes that the spirit of Easter will bring peace and joy in the midst of the Supiori community.
