Papua Police’s Professional and Security Division (Bidpropam) Shares Free Takjil with Mosque Congregation

Jayapura – The personnel of the Professional and Security Division (Propam) of the Papua Regional Police shared free takjil with the community during the month of Ramadan 1446 Hijri, particularly with the congregation of Al-Latif Mosque in Permata Indah 3, Koya Barat, Jayapura City, on Thursday afternoon, March 6, 2025.
This Takjil distribution activity was directly supported by the Head of the Professional and Security Division of the Indonesian National Police, Inspector General of Police Abdul Karim, S.I.K., M.Si, through the Head of the Professional and Security Division of Papua Police, Commissioner of Police Rudi Asriman, S.I.K., M.Si, who distributed takjil to the community within the legal jurisdiction of the Papua Regional Police.
Brigadier Police Ika Herlinawati Nur, S.H., as the Head of the Team, said today, “On behalf of the Kadivpropam Polri and Kabibpropam Polda Papua, we are handing over the takjil to the management of Al-Latif Mosque to be shared with the mosque congregation for iftar, which includes 90 pieces of cakes, 30 pieces of fruit ice, and 30 pieces of bubur sumsum (a traditional porridge).”
“Throughout this holy month of Ramadan, I have ordered the personnel of Bidpropam to distribute takjil for breaking the fast to the community at places of worship or Islamic boarding schools in Jayapura City,” he added.
“Through this free takjil distribution, in addition to increasing religious merit during Ramadan, it is also hoped that it can assist the community, especially the Muslim community who are fasting,” he concluded.
