Mimika- The Cartenz-2024 Peace Task Force again managed to shoot dead 1 member of the Intan Jaya area KKB on behalf of Harisatu Nambagani. The chronology is as follows on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at around 16:27 WIT there was a firefight between KKB and Cartenz-2024 Peace Task Force Personnel at the Tigamajigi tower post, Sugapa, Intan Jaya Regency.
Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno when confirmed said, that at around 16.27 WIT, there was a firefight between the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force from the Brimob Regiment and KKB at the Tigamajigi Hamlet Tower Post;
“In the firefight, 1 KKB member on behalf of Harisatu Nambagani was shot dead, but his body and weapons were taken away by other KKB towards Jalai Village.”, said the Head of the Public Relations Task Force.
Head of Ops Peace Cartenz-2024, Kombes Pol Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, on a separate occasion confirmed that, Previously, the joint TNI-Polri apparatus had succeeded in shooting 5 KKB members and on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops task force again managed to shoot 1 KKB member by name, Harisatu Nambagani.
The shooting of 1 KKB member on behalf of Harisatu Nambagani was also confirmed by the person in charge of KKB Kodap VII Intan Jaya, Obet Japugau through the National Mourning call through KKB’s social media.
Kaops appealed to citizens in Sugapa, Intan Jaya to remain vigilant and not easily provoked by proganda from KKB and KKP.
“Until now the situation in Sugapa, Intan Jaya is still vulnerable under control. I urge the community to remain vigilant,” concluded Faisal.
