Oksibil. It was previously reported that in the early hours of Saturday (30/09/2023), joint TNI and Polri troops who were members of the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force succeeded in neutralizing 4 KKB and confiscating 2 firearms in Serambakon District, Bintang Mountains Regency.
After this incident, members of the Cartenz 2023 Peace task force conducted another search at the crime scene and found one KKB person dead and one Short Barrel Rifle.
Head of Peace Ops Cartenz 2023 Police Commissioner Dr. Faizal Ramadhani S.Sos, S.I.K, MH, when confirmed, confirmed the incident.
“Yes, that’s right, after the ambush, members combed the crime scene again and found another KKB member dead and a short rifle was found. So a total of 5 KKB people were successfully neutralized and 3 rifles were successfully secured,” stressed Head of Ops.
Elsewhere, Head of Public Relations Task Force Akbp Dr. Bayu Suseno said that the firearms (senpi) that had been seized were one SS1 type long-barreled rifle without Lade, one USA NOUVES type long-barreled rifle (M4 variant) and one FN type short-barreled rifle.
Apart from firearms, the evidence that was seized was a Morning Star flag, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, five units of magazines and several HT (Handy Talky) and cellphone type communication devices.
Regarding the identity of the KKB who were successfully paralyzed, Bayu said that currently the Joint TNI Polri Team which is part of the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force is still identifying the five bodies of the KKB.
“We are still identifying his identity (KKB),” concluded Bayu.
