Jayapura- The Cartenz2023 Peace Task Force, led by Kombes Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, has again made achievements in the field of law enforcement against the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Papua. During his working visit to the Bintang Mountains a few days ago, Faizal ensured that the situation in the Bintang Mountains was well controlled by the security forces and forkopimda.
On Saturday (30/09/2023) in the early morning, joint forces of the TNI Polri who are members of the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force have succeeded in paralyzing 4 KKB who often riot in the Oksibil area, Mount Bintang.
The location of law enforcement is in Mondusit Village, Serambakon District, Bintang Mountains Regency.
“Yes, it is true, we have succeeded in paralyzing 4 KKB in the Bintang Mountains area. Info from the field that there are 2 firearms that we managed to confiscate,” explained Faizal.
Elsewhere, Head of the Public Relations Task Force for Operation Peace Cartenz 2023 AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno explained that the four KKB when this news was revealed were still in the process of being evacuated.
“Please be patient, colleagues, currently the troops in the field are still cleaning up the scene, identifying their identities and later, if possible, the bodies will be brought down from the mountains,” said Bayu.
Kapolres Pegunungan Bintang AKBP Dafi Bastoni, SIK, MIK explained that the law enforcement activities carried out in the Bintang Mountains involved various TNI Polri troops including from the Gakkum Task Force, namely the Delta Team, Brimob Regiment III, Kopasus, namely the Nanggala Task Force, North Sulawesi Brimob, Battalion 310 / KK, namely the Pamtas Task Force and from the Pegunungan Bintang Police. “This success is the result of good cooperation between the TNI Polri who are members of the Cartenz Peace Task Force and the Pamtas Task Force that is already here,” concluded Dafi.
