Jayapura – The victim of a shooting allegedly carried out by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, yesterday Friday (1/9) arrived in Mimika Regency.

Head of Papua Police Public Relations, Kombes Pol. Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, S.H., S.I.K., M.Kom, provided information regarding the evacuation process.
“The victim evacuation process was carried out at 07.52 WIT from Aminggaru Ilaga airport, Kab. “The peak goes to Mimika Regency,” he said.
During the flight, the victim, who was still conscious, was accompanied by his wife. The evacuation process also involved the Mimika District Hospital medical team.
“The victim is currently at the Mimika District Hospital for further medical treatment due to the injuries he suffered,” added Commissioner Benny.
Kombes Pol. Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo emphasized the importance of law enforcement in dealing with similar incidents.
“We will not remain silent in the face of criminal acts like this. We will continue to work together with other authorities to reveal the truth and ensure security in the region,” he said.
