Mimika – The Regent of Nduga, Namia Gwijangge, strongly condemned the Action of the KKB in the Nduga Region which carried out the arson of the Susi air plane and the hostage taking of 15 workers for the construction of a health center and medical housing as well as the pilot of the Susi air plane who is still being held hostage by the KKB and has not been found., Wednesday/ 8/1/2023.
According to the Gwijangge regent, the KKB is very disturbing to the community and has hampered development in Nduga regency.
He continued, pilots and workers are people with noble hearts. Their love for Papua is so great that they are willing to come all the way just to want to serve the people in the interior of Papua.
“The church does not teach killing, but now the KKB is committing crimes that are inhumane. This is of course prohibited by the church. I hope disturbances like this will stop soon,” he said.
He also said that, as a native of the Nduga tribe, he was very disappointed with the KKB’s actions which always disrupted security stability in the Nduga district.
“I thank the TNI-POLRI who have saved these 15 workers, and I hope that the KKB will return the pilots to us local governments soon,” he said.
The Regent of Namia also asked Sebby Sambom, who is the spokesperson for the KKB, to stop making false information to the public. According to him, Sebby Sambom had deceived the public by always shouting about incorrect information.
