Puncak – Cartenz-2026 Peace Operation Personnel carried out a dialogical patrol while providing health services to residents in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, Tuesday (7/21/2026). In addition to monitoring the security situation, these activities are used to dialogue with the community and provide health checks at a number of points that personnel pass through.
The presence of personnel at a number of points in Sinak District is not only focused on efforts to maintain regional security, but also to build good communication with the community encountered during the patrol.
In the activity, personnel walk along a number of connecting lines between villages, crossing suspension bridges, hilly areas, and several locations that are the main access to the community. On the sidelines of the patrol, personnel take the time to dialogue with residents to listen to the security conditions in their neighborhood as well as give an appeal to the public to stay alert and immediately report if they find a potential disturbance of kamtibmas.
In addition, personnel also provide health services to the community encountered during the patrol. Residents receive health checks and simple education about the importance of maintaining body condition, so that the presence of personnel provides direct benefits in the field of security and health.
The interaction that was established was warm. Residents welcomed the presence of personnel in a friendly manner, even some of them took advantage of the opportunity to convey the condition of the region and the daily needs of the community. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., said that every patrol implementation not only aims to maintain regional security, but also to ensure that the community can carry out their activities calmly through an approach that prioritizes communication and service.
“The presence of personnel in the field is not only to maintain security, but also to ensure that the public feels protected and has space to convey various conditions that they face. Good communication is an important part of creating a safe and conducive situation,” said Kaops.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Peace Operations Cartenz-2026, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., said that dialogic patrols are an effort to maintain security as well as build good communication with the community.
“With the presence of personnel in the field, we hope that residents will feel safer and every potential disturbance can be anticipated early,” said Wakaops.
One of the residents of Sinak District, Yonas Wenda, admitted that he felt calmer with the regular patrols that visited their area.
“We feel safer when there are patrols coming to the village. In addition to maintaining security, personnel also want to talk to us, give a health check, and listen to what we say. Hopefully activities like this will continue to be carried out,” he said.
The joint patrol in Sinak District is part of the effort to maintain the security situation as well as strengthen the harmonious relationship with the community. Through open communication, health services, and the presence of personnel in the midst of residents’ activities, it is hoped that security stability will be maintained so that people can carry out their daily lives safely, healthily, peacefully, and together maintain unity and order in Papua.
