Puncak – In an effort to maintain security stability and strengthen relations with the community, personnel from the Carstensz Peace Operation 2026 Task Force conducted a dialogic foot patrol in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, on Tuesday (June 2, 2026).
The activity, which began at 9:20 a.m. WIT, demonstrated the National Police’s presence within the community through a humanistic approach. Personnel traveled through several areas in Sinak District, monitoring the security situation and interacting directly with residents to ensure the area remained safe and conducive.
This foot patrol is a routine preventive measure to anticipate potential disturbances to public order and security while also building public trust in the security forces serving in the area.
The presence of Carstensz Peace Operation personnel within the community received a positive response from residents. In addition to providing a sense of security, these activities also serve as an effective means of communication between security forces and the community, helping to maintain a conducive public order and security situation in the Sinak District.
The Head of the Cartenz-2026 Peace Operation, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that the dialogic patrols are part of a preventive strategy to maintain security and strengthen relations between the National Police and the community.
“The foot patrols carried out by personnel are a concrete manifestation of the state’s presence in providing a sense of security to the community. In addition to maintaining security stability, these activities also serve as a means to build good communication and strengthen closeness between the National Police and the community,” said Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of the Cartenz-2026 Peace Operation, Senior Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that a humanistic approach will continue to be prioritized in all tasks carried out in the Papua region.
“Through these humane, dialogic patrols, we want to ensure that the public feels the benefits of the National Police’s presence. Through good communication and mutual trust, a conducive security situation can be maintained,” said Senior Commissioner Adarma Sinaga.
The results of these activities indicate that the security situation in Sinak District is safe and under control. The public has responded positively to the presence of personnel in the field, while community activities have been normal and conducive throughout the patrols.
