MULIA – Personnel of the Enforcement Unit of Cartenz Peace Operation 2026 carried out character-building activities for young students in Papua’s highlands. A squad led by Aipda Norman provided basic marching drill training (Peraturan Baris Berbaris/PBB) to students of Dondobaga Elementary School in Mulia District, Puncak Jaya Regency, on February 14, 2026.
During the session, students were introduced to fundamental marching techniques, including the attention stance, movements in place, and proper right- and left-turn commands. The training was conducted in an orderly and energetic atmosphere. Students appeared enthusiastic in following each instruction, with several confidently demonstrating the movements in front of their classmates.
The activity forms part of ongoing efforts to instill discipline, character development, and a sense of unity among students from an early age. It also serves as a human-centered approach to strengthening engagement between security personnel and the local community, particularly within the school environment.
Head of Cartenz Peace Operation 2026, Brigjen Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, emphasized that youth development plays a vital role in maintaining a stable and conducive security environment in Papua.
“We are not solely focused on law enforcement. Community development and persuasive engagement are equally important, including outreach to school children. They are the next generation, and we must prepare them with discipline and a spirit of unity,” he stated.
In a separate statement, Deputy Head of Cartenz Peace Operation 2026, Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, added that similar initiatives will continue across various regions.
“The presence of our personnel within communities, especially in schools, is expected to build trust and strengthen relationships between security forces and residents. Through this closeness, security stability can be maintained collectively,” he said.
Following the activity, personnel of the Cartenz Peace Operation 2026 Enforcement Task Force returned to Kuliril Post in Mulia to continue security duties in Puncak Jaya Regency.
Through sustained community engagement programs, Cartenz Peace Operation 2026 reaffirms its commitment to fostering a safe and stable environment while instilling discipline and national values among Papua’s younger generation.
