SINAK, Papua, Indonesia — Efforts to maintain a stable and conducive security situation continue in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, as Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 carries out dialog-based public security patrols combined with community health services.
On Tuesday (January 21, 2026), personnel of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026, including members of the Brimob Corps, conducted patrols across residential areas and community activity centers. During the patrols, officers engaged directly with residents through greetings and open dialogue to listen to local concerns and expectations regarding security conditions. The approach fostered a warm and approachable atmosphere within the community.
Alongside the dialog-based patrols, personnel also provided free health services, including basic medical check-ups, the distribution of medicines, and health education. The friendly and empathetic presence of officers helped residents feel comfortable, safe, and protected.
The Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2026, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that combining dialog-based patrols with social services is a strategic effort to build public trust in the Indonesian National Police.
“Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 is not only tasked with maintaining security, but also with fostering a sense of peace through services that directly address community needs. When police officers are present with sincerity—serving and listening—that is where peace begins to grow,” Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani said.
He added that security and community welfare must go hand in hand to achieve sustainable peace in Papua.
Positive feedback was expressed by local community leader Yulius Murib, who said the presence of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz personnel has brought reassurance to residents.
“The police safeguard our villages and talk with us. We feel cared for, and this makes us feel calmer,” Murib said.
Throughout the implementation of the dialog-based patrols and health services, security conditions in Sinak District remained safe and conducive. The activities underscore the commitment of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 to maintaining peace in Papua through a humane approach carried out directly within local communities.
