INTAN JAYA, Papua, Indonesia — Personnel of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 conducted dialog-based patrols in Intan Jaya Regency, Papua, emphasizing a humane and community-oriented approach as part of Indonesia’s preventive security efforts to maintain regional stability and strengthen public trust in law enforcement.
During the patrols, DPP Briptu Bagas Al-Bayyinah A.S. not only carried out routine security duties but also engaged directly with local residents. Through open dialogue and personal interaction, Operation Peace Cartenz personnel listened to community concerns while delivering public safety messages, reflecting the Indonesian National Police’s commitment to a transparent, approachable, and community-focused presence.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that a humane approach remains a key element in sustaining long-term peace and security in Papua.
“Peace is not achieved solely through territorial security measures, but also through the presence of security personnel who are able to embrace communities with a humane attitude, respect local wisdom, and build trust. Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 is here to ensure that people feel safe and protected,” said Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani.
The initiative received positive feedback from local residents. A community member, identified by the initial A, stated that the regular presence of Operation Peace Cartenz personnel has contributed to a greater sense of calm and security among residents.
“We feel more at ease because police officers frequently visit, greet, and talk with the community. They do more than patrol; they genuinely care about our situation. This makes us feel acknowledged and protected,” the resident said.
Throughout the patrol activities, security conditions in Intan Jaya remained safe and conducive. The dialog-based and humane patrols underscore the Indonesian National Police’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding Papua while strengthening harmonious relations between security forces and local communities.
