Nduga – Efforts to create a sense of security and improve police services for rural communities continue to be carried out by the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force. Through integrated patrols and checking service facilities, the authorities ensured security as well as the readiness of supporting facilities for residents in Nduga Regency.
On Sunday, January 4, 2026, Cartenz Peace Action Task Force personnel along with the ranks of the Nduga Police carried out patrols in the Batu Limits area. The activity is combined with checking the Krepkuri Service Police Post which has been rehabilitated and ready to be re-functionalized to serve the needs of the local community.
This patrol is a means to strengthen the relationship between security forces and residents, as well as ensure that the kamtibmas situation remains under control. The presence of officers in the field is not only focused on securing the area, but also ensuring that the public has access to closer and more responsive police services.
Head of Cartenz Peace Operation 2026, Brigadier General of Police. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that the existence of service posts in inland areas is an important part of the strategy to create sustainable security.
“Police services must be present to remote areas. A proper service post will make it easier for the community to get a sense of security, as well as a means of building communication and trust between officers and residents,” said Brigadier General of Police. Faizal Ramadhani
He added, patrols carried out in a humanistic manner are the main approach in Operation Peace Cartenz 2026, where security is built through dialogue, respect for local culture, and services that prioritize human values.
The people of Batas Batu welcomed the re-functioning of the Krepkuri Service Police Post. Residents assess that the presence of officers who regularly patrol and be open gives a sense of calm and increases trust in the security officers.
During the series of activities, the situation is monitored safe and conducive. The Cartenz 2026 Peace Operation Task Force continues to be committed to maintaining security stability in Nduga Regency through a persuasive approach and services that are oriented to the interests of the community, in order to realize a peaceful and harmonious Papua.
