NABIRE – Mimika Regency is one of the regions in Central Papua Province.
This area is known as an industrial city, often referred to as the “dollar city,” because it is home to the largest mining company in Indonesia, and even the world.
In addition, Mimika has experienced significant population growth, reaching 10,344 people.
The Head of the Damal Tribe in Mimika, Yulius Agabal, has called on his community to continue maintaining public security and order (Kamtibmas).
He also urged them not to be easily provoked by various external issues that could disrupt the lives of the people.
“So let us keep Mimika safe and peaceful,” said Yulius in Nabire on Friday (September 5, 2025).
Furthermore, he encouraged his community to continue supporting all government programs, both at the national and regional levels.
“This way, development can proceed smoothly, and prosperity can be enjoyed equally by everyone,” he added.
