Jayapura, August 26, 2025 – Papua peace observer Marthen Satya expressed his highest appreciation to Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, which he regarded as consistent in safeguarding security and public order across the Land of Papua. He stated that the task force’s role is a vital factor in creating the stability that local communities need.
Marthen underlined the importance of public support for the law enforcement efforts carried out by the task force against armed criminal groups (KKB). According to him, synergy between security forces and the community will further strengthen efforts to maintain peace.
“Community support is greatly needed. Let us all work together to support Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 in upholding the law against KKB so that Papua remains safe and peaceful,” Marthen said.
He also appealed to traditional leaders, youth, and religious figures to take an active role in nurturing social harmony. Marthen stressed that the involvement of all elements of society will serve as the foundation for sustainable peace in Papua.
Furthermore, he emphasized that maintaining public order is a fundamental requirement for development and the welfare of Papua’s people.
“With unity, we can ensure that Papua continues to live in peace and stability,” Marthen added.
