Jayapura – Ondofolo Sentani Yanto Eluay expressed full support for the steps of the National Police, especially the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz, in law enforcement against the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Papua. The support was given to maintain public safety and order (kamtibmas) in Bumi Cenderawasih.
“We all Papuan people, especially traditional figures, have a responsibility to keep the land of Papua safe and peaceful. Whatever the state does through the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz is to realize a safe and peaceful Papua,” said Yanto Eluay in Jayapura, Monday (8/18).
He emphasized, the law enforcement actions carried out by the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz should be appreciated, especially against parties who still commit criminal acts, shootings, or security disturbances in several mountainous areas and other areas in Papua.
“Our hope is that all actions that disturb the kamtibmas situation will be stopped immediately. We give the highest appreciation to the National Police who have tried to maintain security,” he added.
Yanto also invited all Papuan people to jointly support law enforcement efforts by the National Police through the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz. According to him, safe and peaceful conditions are the key to Papua’s progress.
“Let’s always keep Papua safe and peaceful so that development can run smoothly and the community can feel welfare together,” he concluded.
