Puncak Jaya – Demonstrating their concern for the community in Papua, especially children, personnel from Ops Peace Cartenz-2025 engaged in a social activity at Pos Kulirik, Muara District, Puncak Jaya Regency, Central Papua. On Tuesday (May 27, 2025), at around 12:30 PM WIT, Bripda Nelwan Nono and his team distributed snacks and interacted directly with school children and local residents.
The children present responded enthusiastically, appearing cheerful and excited as they received the snacks from the personnel. The event fostered a warm and friendly atmosphere, strengthening the sense of togetherness amidst their daily routines.
Commander of Ops Peace Cartenz, Brigjen Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Wakaops, Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that social activities like this are part of the routine efforts by Ops Peace Cartenz-2025 to create a harmonious environment in Papua.
“This is a regular activity we conduct as a tangible expression of Ops Peace Cartenz-2025’s concern for the community. We hope that through activities like this, stronger, more harmonious relationships between Papuan communities and personnel can be built, leading to a safer, more secure, and peaceful situation in Puncak Jaya and Papua overall,” Brigjen Faizal explained.
Additionally, the Public Relations Task Force of Ops Peace Cartenz-2025, Kombes Pol. Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., mentioned that this activity reflects the personnel’s care for children in Papua.
“The main goal of this activity is to motivate children to remain enthusiastic about learning and to inspire them anew, while also strengthening the good relationship between security personnel and the local community in Kulirik,” he said.
With initiatives like this, it is hoped that children’s enthusiasm for learning will grow, and a warm, close relationship between security forces and the community in Papua will continue to flourish.
