Intan Jaya — As a true manifestation of the National Police’s primary duties to protect, serve, and care for the public, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 – Intan Jaya Sector, carried out a dialogical patrol by greeting Papua’s mothers and children in the Intan Jaya region, Central Papua.
This activity reflects the humanist approach consistently prioritized by the police in creating a sense of security and building emotional closeness with the community, especially in areas that have long faced security challenges.
Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that every police officer is expected to be present as a protector and friend of the people.
“Humanist service is not just a slogan—it is our duty as members of the National Police. By greeting and having dialogue with the community, we want to show that the state is present for them with heart,” said Brigadier General Faizal.
Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that this activity is part of a persuasive strategy to build trust and maintain a conducive situation.
On the same occasion, Head of Public Relation for Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., invited the community to remain united in preserving peace in Papua.
“We urge the people not to be easily provoked by misleading issues. With everyone’s cooperation, we can create a peaceful and prosperous Papua.”
This dialogical patrol was warmly welcomed by the locals, who felt appreciated and acknowledged. The Papua mothers expressed their hope that the police would continue to be present with compassion, maintaining security without instilling fear.
