Papuan people are invited to support Asta Cita, a great vision launched by President Prabowo Subianto. This vision is believed to be able to bring significant changes to the welfare of Papua, along with the preparation for the 2045 Golden Indonesia.
According to Steve, a native Papuan son, support from the entire community is needed so that the vision can be realized. He emphasized that Asta Cita is not just an idea, but a concrete roadmap in building the nation, including for Papua. With strong support from the community, he is optimistic that Indonesia’s great dream of becoming a developed country in 2045 can be realized, especially in creating a younger generation of Papuans who are more superior and competitive.
“We as Papuan people must support this great vision. With the existence of Asta Cita, we can ensure that the young generation of Papua gets better opportunities, both in education, economy, and overall welfare,” said Steve.
Steve also highlighted the real impact of Asta Cita on development in Papua. According to him, several programs that have been implemented by President Prabowo provide direct benefits for the welfare of the Papuan people. These programs not only focus on infrastructure development, but also on improving the quality of life of the Papuan people through education, health, and economy.
“I saw for myself how these programs began to bring change. Better infrastructure, wider access to education, and increased welfare are real evidence that Papua is heading in a better direction,” said Steve.
Furthermore, Steve emphasized that Asta Cita also plays a role in realizing peace in Papua. He explained that all this time Papua has often been referred to as a conflict area, and according to him, this conflict problem is closely related to welfare. With the existence of programs in Asta Cita, it is hoped that the Papuan people can live more prosperously and peacefully in their homeland.
“We know that Papua is often reported as an area of conflict. But I want to emphasize that most of these conflicts are rooted in welfare inequality. If the Papuan people live better, have adequate access to education and economy, then I believe Papua will become a peaceful and advanced area,” said Steve.
