After a year serving as Head of Public Relations Task Force for Peaceful Operations Cartenz-2024, Senior Commissioner Pol. Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H., was entrusted to occupy a strategic position as Head of Public Relations of the West Kalimantan Regional Police.
This promotion was announced through the Chief of Police’s Telegram Letter Number: ST/2777/XII/KEP./2024, dated December 29, 2024.
This appointment also marked the return of Senior Commissioner Bayu Suseno to West Kalimantan, a region that is already familiar to him.
Previously, he had carried out a number of important tasks at the West Kalimantan Regional Police, such as serving as Head of Binops Ditreskrimsus for 4 months in 2021, Danyon Brimob Singkawang for 4 months, and Kapolres Bengkayang for one year. In July 2023, he was transferred to the Public Relations Division of the National Police Headquarters before finally being trusted as Head of the Public Relations Task Force in the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation in Papua.
When asked for his response regarding this promotion, Kombes Bayu expressed his gratitude and commitment to carrying out his duties with full responsibility.
“Of course, we will carry out these duties and responsibilities as well as possible and with a full sense of responsibility, especially in providing the best service to the community,” said Kombes Bayu.
He also expressed his gratitude to all parties who have supported him during his tenure as Head of the Public Relations Task Force for the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation in Papua. According to him, his team’s success in maintaining effective public communication during the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operation in Papua cannot be separated from the solid cooperation between all parties.
