Jayapura- Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Bayu Suseno, has denied claims from the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) which stated that Senus Lepitalen was a member of intelligence.
According to Bayu, this accusation was just an excuse made by the KKB to justify their actions in killing civilians.
Senus Lepitalen was found dead by KKB in Calap Village, Borme District, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua Mountains Province.
Bayu stated that the KKB always used the excuse that the victim was an intelligence member every time they killed civilians.
“From the past, when they killed civilians, it was always TNI-Polri intelligence. “Even though the reality is civil society,” said Bayu.
In other words, Bayu emphasized that OPM’s actions were an attempt to justify the killing of civilians who were not actually involved in intelligence or military activities.
