Jayapura- The Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force in the Yahukimo area responded to a shooting carried out by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) Kodap XVI Yahukimo on Thursday, June 6 2024, at 18.20 WIT.
The shooting incident occurred on Jalan Seradala, Kilometer 2, Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency, Papua Mountain Province.
Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force, AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, in his statement, said that it was true that a shooting had occurred by KKB Kodap XVI Yahukimo on Thursday, June 6 2024, at 18.20 WIT, on Jalan Seradala, Kilometer 2, Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency, Papua Mountains.
“We can say that from the attack carried out by KKB Kodap XVI Yahukimo, one member of Kodim 1715/Yahukimo, Pratu Rajami Uhio, suffered a gunshot wound to the left thigh,” concluded AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno.
He continued, a brief chronology of the incident, namely, the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force for the Yahukimo area received information via Yahukimo Police HT radio that a gunshot had been heard by the KKB from the direction of Jalan Seradala, precisely at the 2nd kilometer bridge, Dekai, Yahukimo, which resulted in Pratu Rajami Uhio suffered a gunshot wound to the left thigh.
“After receiving the report, our team from the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force in the Yahukimo area immediately responded by moving quickly to the scene of the shooting,” said the Head of the Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Public Relations Task Force.
AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno added, “Currently, the victim is at Dekai Yahukimo Hospital receiving medical treatment.”
“The Cartenz-2024 Peace Ops Task Force will take firm and measurable action against KKB, the perpetrator of this shooting,” concluded AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno.
