Jayapura- Papuan Community Leader, Max Abner Ohee, appealed to the Papuan people to avoid hoax news or information that could cause chaos in Papua. Monday, (5/27/2024).
Max Abner Ohee, who is the Chairman of Barisan Merah Putih RI-Papua, said in his statement that as children of the nation, the Papuan people will always join hands to maintain a safe and peaceful Papua.
“We appeal to all Papuans not to be provoked by issues built by certain groups that can divide unity and integrity in the Land of Papua,” said Max Abner Ohee.
He continued, the Barisan Merah Putih Organization is ready to embrace all elements of Papuan society in order to maintain a safe and peaceful Papua and support the government in building a developed and prosperous Papua.
Max Abner Ohee also appealed to all young Papuans who are still continuing their education, both at school and college, to remain focused on carrying out their education and not to be easily influenced by certain groups that will destroy the future of the young generation of Papua.
Max Abner Ohee hopes that the Papuan people can be more aware of hoax news and remain united to maintain peace and focus on development and education for a better future.
