Timika – In order to ensure that the situation is safely under control from the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in the Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Operation Damai Cartenz 2024 personnel commited patrol and sweeping out the dangerous goods.
The patrol and sweeping activity were held in 3 spots in the area. Which are the GBI Church, Okpol and Pasar Baru.
Pegunungan Bintang Sector Commander Iptu Muhammad Kasim Lating, S.Tr.K. explains in his instructions that the purpose of commiting this patrol to anticipate the presence of objects that threatens the locals and provide a sense of security.
“Our presence here aims to provide a sense of security and coziness to the community and protect them against any assaults to social security, especially from the Armed Criminal Group (KKB),” he added.
In a different place, Operation Damai Cartenz Head of Public Relations AKBP Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H. adding that the patrol was commited to maintain the security in Pegunungan Bintang Regency.
“Patrol activities is our effort to create conducive security of Pegunungan Bintang Regency and to make sure the locals’ sense of security that our personnel could provide,” said Bayu.
Until this news was published, these patrol and sweeping activities had not found anything related to the activities of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in the Pegunungan Bintang Regency area.
